Description

Records a customer check-in event at a specific business location. This can be used to trigger review request campaigns and log customer visits. Either an email address or phone number must be provided.
businessNumber in this tool is the location business ID (child location), not the enterprise account ID — the opposite of most other tools. Call get_child_locations to get valid location IDs.

  • businessNumber here is the child location ID — different from most tools where businessNumber is the enterprise ID.
  • At least one of emailId or phone must be provided to identify the customer.
  • The employees list lets you associate the visit with specific staff members, which can trigger employee-level review requests.
